UPDATE: I am still using this supplement for the sake of stopping hair loss and it seems to just get better and better. Due to a knee injury back in March I added MSM powder (or you can take Doctor’s Best Opti MSM capsules instead) at 3-4 grams per day to assist with healing my knee. However, my recent visit to the hair salon revealed that the MSM is actually improving the quality of my hair. My hair dresser is now telling all her clients about this Biotin + ALA strategy…she says one of her clients got similar results from taking the Biotin alone. One more thing…suggest you take this combo of ALA and Biotin just before a meal…otherwise the ALA can cause burning in the stomach – it is an “acid” after all. I found this out the hard way. As long as you take it before a meal you’ll be fine. Hope this helps.
