Since the beginning of time, man has walked on an Earth of a perfect, disease and pollution free environment. Over the years we have learned and evolved, gaining new traits, skills and knowledge, But! With that constant evolution we have lost an equal amount of assets. One of those is our hair.

YES! Our hair, and we are not doing a thing about it.

85% of the male and 15% of the female population are experiencing hair problems on a regular basis. Each day, over hundreds of thousands of people are experiencing hair loss, and sadly, only 1/3rd of those people chose to acknowledge the situation and do something about it.

But, to really bring any problem to a solution , we need to understand the problem thoroughly.

What is the main cause of hair loss

Let’s find out the reasons.

Genetics play a major role in hair fall. In-fact, there is a gene passed on only from the female at the time of birth that causes the child to lose hair in the later stage of its life. This is because the hereditary factor is most dominant in the females as compared to the males.

There comes a time in every man’s life in which they suffer from hair problems.
By midst of their 30’s, 66% of men in general, experiences some type of hair problem. Upon reaching the age of 50, about 85% of men will realize that a significant amount of their hair has begun to become thinner than usual.  25% of men that suffer from male pattern baldness will begin to symptoms such as thinning hair or sometime even hair loss before they can even reach 21 years of age.

The Postpartum causing hair loss after child birth is temporary and normal. Mostly women usually return to their natural and normal hair growth cycle. It takes approximately 6 -12 months after birth.

Malnutrition is one of the biggest avoidable problem that many of us don’t pay heed to. Deficiency of vitamin A leads to an itchy dry scalp scalp and sometimes even hair loss. eggs, milk, yogurt, eggs, cheese, etc.  Contains all the essential nutrients needed by our body. Proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids are all present in these foods.  A great way of re-growing your hair is a magical ingredient called biotin (Vitamin B7), it is a proven way to work. Eat well and it will promote natural hair growth

Addictive drugs such as smoking, excessive use of alcohol, and a few prescribed drugs are known to cause alopecia. Smoking not only causes cancer of many sorts, but it causes your hair to thin by a tremendous amount, which basically leads to baldness. Alcohol causes your hair to fall too. However, a limited and small dosage of alcohol every-day, like 2 or 3 glasses can actually help to keep your hair. So remember the max amount is 3 glasses.

A few diseases and sometimes treatment of diseases also cause you to rapidly lose hair. Symptoms of thyroid obstruction of any sort can cause hair problems as well. Chemotherapy causes hair-fall to a great extent but once the therapy course is completed your hair begins to sprout back out.

Stress is probably one of the most occurring reasons for many people losing their hair. Stress can cause telogen effluvium (when the brain signals a larger percentage of the hair to stop growing) and  alopecia areata (when you lose patches of hair in large clumps around your head). To be under any sort of stress not only affects your living but also gives way to the most abnormal types of hair loss.

Hormonal changes

Hormone changes are the last of the topic, but, it is probably the most important part of the information. Hormonal changing can not only cause your hair to grow rapidly, and in places that we least expect, it sometimes causes the vice versa to take place. The process of our Testosterones (more abundant in men then women) to change in DHT’s (Dihydrotestosterone) which is the “main”cause of many of us losing our hair. Lower levels of testosterone (even in women) will case hair loss.

In conclusion, we all come to a part of life where we all suffer from hair problems. Some of us are very happy with ourselves and some of us are not. Either way, hair belongs on our head and not on our brushes. I believe that, hair problems are avoidable and we all can avoid them by keeping this little bit of information at the back of our heads.

There is not just “1” main cause. There are many,

The question that remains is that,
